At BarJ we started with three females. Two medium gray female agouti, Misty and her kid Dori and one kid Blacki. We have 5 fenced acres. We needed help with keeping the brush and tumbleweeds down.
We fell in love with pygmy goats while at a visit at Mapleway Veterinary Clinic in Gleed. An eight week old black pygmy kid was playing in the office. We searched on line and found unregistered pygmies in Zillah. We brought them home and the more we took care of them and watched them, we knew we wanted a few more. They are intelligent, friendly and very entertaining to watch.
We now have two Nigerian Dwarf goats, one La Moncha, four pygmies and two nigerian dwarf/pygmy cross kids. Jeff's Classic Victor is our first registered pygmy buck. Impala is our first registered female.
